Liborio Ybarra, age 97, of Floydada, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada.
Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service was held at 6 p.m.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Liborio was born on July 23, 1926, in Sabinal, Texas. He was a labor worker and enjoyed spending time with his family, doing yard work, watching “The Price is Right,” “Family Feud,” “Caso Cerrado,” “Al Punto,” and wrestling.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sabina Ybarra, in 1998; his sons, Armando Ybarra, in 2017 and Liborio Ybarra, Jr., in 2023; and his daughters, Anita Navarro and Isabel Ybarra, in 2021.
Liborio is survived by his children, Maria Elena Ybarra of Floydada and Luis and Lina Ybarra of Altus, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
