Guadalupe Ellen Arjona, age 75, of Lockney, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Amarillo.

She was born July 12, 1948 to Ignacio Quintanilla, Sr., and Juana Morales.

An open visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2024 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.

Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and making homemade desserts. She loved cooking amazing meals for her family and friends. People would always reach out for her home remedies. Country, two-step and line dancing is what she enjoyed doing. Guadalupe’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Arjona; and her parents; her sisters, Elaine Hayes and Sylvia Ysasaga; and her brothers, Ignacio Quintanilla, Jr., and Felix Quintanilla.

She is survived by her children, Rosellen Garrard, Jason Arjona and Jessie Arjona; her grandchildren, Allison Loewenstern, Audrie Rockwell, Brevyn Arjona, Robert Lee Casillas, Urijah Arjona, Jesalynn Arjona, Leland Arjona, Jasticee Rae Arjona and Jakevon Jray Arjona; and her great-grandchildren, Bentli Rodriguez, Elanie Rockwell, Elle Casillas, River Loewenstern, Sofia Rockwell, Torie Garrard, Victor Garcia, Zerhyn Ramos, Jordon Hernandez, Julia Garcia, Kaiden Gonzales, Kyven Arjona, Liam Rockwell, Nyla Casillas, Braely Arjona, Dorothy Mckinzie, Jordyn Jaydrielle Luna and Arius King Luna. She is also survived by her siblings, Connie Beverage, Demas Quintanilla, Raymond Quintanilla, Rosie Solis, Vickie Palmer, Johnny Quintanilla, Linda Thomas and Paul Quintanilla.
