Jerry Bullock, 86, died in Lubbock on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026.

A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m., Oct. 3, 2026, at Sanders Memorial Chapel in Lubbock.

Jerry is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Barbara Anne Smith; his son, Brad Bullock of Floydada; his son Brent Bullock and wife, Maureen of New Braunfels; his grandchildren, Dan and Audra Smith of Bee Cave, Shelly Smith of Lubbock, Bryana Bullock of Round Rock, Michael Bullock, wife, Michelle, and great-grandson Mason of Thrall, Bradley Bullock of Lubbock, and Tavianne Bullock of Floydada.

Jerry was born Sept. 16, 1940, in the family home near the Blanco community of Floyd County.

He is also survived by siblings Sue Ward of Floydada, Kay Hicks of Floydada, Jan and Robert Lara of Lubbock, and Robert and Dawn Bullock of Lubbock, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in eternal glory by his parents, RC and Bill Bullock, and his sister, Barbara Gross; along with numerous uncles and aunts that he often reminisced about. He especially honored his Uncle “Tip” who died young during World War II.

Jerry was a hardworking, devoted husband and father, a fun-loving loyal friend and a tough fighter who defied the odds and overcame any challenge.
