Christina “KiKi” Martinez, 1968–2023
FLOYDADA—Christina age 54, of Floydada, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Floydada. Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 6 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
She was born on October 27, 1968 to Noe R. and Yolanda Martinez.
She attended St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and taught CCE. She loved to spend time at home, where she spent her time coloring and with her dog named Matilda. She was a home health provider for many years. Family meant everything to her. She will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Noe R. and Yolanda Martinez; her nephew, Abraham Noe Alaniz; and her grandparents.
She is survived by two sisters, Esther Alaniz and husband, Lucky Lamas, from Floydada and Betty Jo Aviles from Plainview; and two brothers, Rick Martinez and wife, Diane Gonzales, from Plainview and Henry and Christina Gonzales from Hart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
