LOCKNEY—Dale Ross, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Gatesville, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Lockney Cemetery. Augie Aguilera officiated.
Visitation was held prior to the service from 9 to 9:45 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements were under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Dale Ross was born on August 28, 1931 in Faxon, Oklahoma, to the late Lenora Ann and J.H. (James) Ross. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.H. (James) and Lenora Ann Ross; his wife, Barbara Ross; a daughter Judy Young; and his siblings Imogene, Mable, Gwendolyn, Leon, Harmon Doyle and Howard.
He is survived by his daughter Barbara Catherine Ruff; his twin sister, Gale Browning; his grandchildren Gary Ruff and fiancé Lonna Gossett, Shawn and wife Tonya, Thomas Young, and Robert Young; his great-grandchildren Gary Jr., Michella, Heiler, Layden and Qwasia; numerous nieces and nephews; and his good friends Linda Griffith and Robert Webb.
