Wanda Wynell Hinsley, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the BeeHive Assisted Living Facility in Floydada.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada. Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Wynell was born March 14, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Harry M. Huddle and Dorothy Ruth Greene. She moved to Floydada in 1947 and met and married the love of her life, Lonnie B. Hinsley, who preceded her in death. Loving and taking care of her family was what gave Wynell’s life meaning and joy. She was a member of the City Park Church of Christ in Floydada.
Wynell is survived by her four children, Michael Hinsley of Floydada, Teresa Beatty and her husband, Rex, of Ruidoso, Kim Hinsley and his wife, Sarah, of Floydada, and Kathy Day of Lubbock. She is also survived by 10 grandkids, 18 great-grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids.
The family of Wynell would like to thank the staff at the BeeHive for the wonderful care she received while living there.
