Manuel Suarez, Jr., age 53, of Floydada passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas, after a long battle with Covid-19.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021 at Calvary’s Cornerstone Fellowship in Floydada, Texas.
Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 6 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Manuel was born August 1, 1968 in Lubbock, Texas.
At a young age, Manuel was taught the many lessons of life and instilled those lessons onto his two sons, JP and Justin Suarez. His main lesson was to always love and provide for your family and to always work hard at anything you do. Manuel was always ready to teach the next generation the many lessons of life. On his days off, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, taking them fishing, spending some time out on the town and catching numerous baseball games. Manuel will be truly missed by his friends and family.
Manuel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose Carmen Suarez and Maria De LaLuz Suarez.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Veronica Carrillo; his sons, JP Suarez and Justin Suarez; his stepchildren, Samuel Guerra, Veronica Arteaga and Marisela Guerra; his grandchildren, Javen Suarez, Jacob (Zero) Suarez, Jason Suarez and twelve more that he loved dearly; his parents, Manuel Suarez and Gloria Suarez; and his brothers and sisters.
