Body FAREWELL AND WELCOME After several years of statewide success, the assistant director of the Lockney Longhorn band program, Jake Henry, is moving on. The Lockney school board approved the hiring of Dr. Andrew Brinkman as a band teacher in its May meeting.
The Lockney pool opened with a splash earlier this week on Tuesday. Operating hours will be Tuesday–Sunday 1 to 6 p.m. Admission is $3 per person for ages 3 and up. Private parties will be held June 2–Aug. 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Contact Valerie to reserve your place or for more information at (806) 200-1827.
