Body Floydada’s Community Involvement Coalition (CIC) is planning a fun night of music and entertainment for all ages. Music in the Park and Pool will kick off at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10 at the Floydada Park and Pool at 807 North 2nd Street.

Francis named TxDOT Lubbock district engineer

Acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock distributes $1.4B in monthly sales tax revenue to Local Governments

Body AUSTIN— Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock said earlier this month that state sales tax revenue totaled $4.7 billion in April, 9.8 percent more than in April 2025. The majority of April sales tax revenue is based on sales made in March and remitted to the agency in April.
