Body The Texas Tech Credit Union Board of Directors and Executive Management Team are pleased to announce the Ellen Hein Scholarship Recipient is Alfonzo Mendoza, a 2017 graduate of Floydada CISD. Mendoza is a senior at Texas Tech University majoring in Civil Engineering.

Body What a great start to 2022, the Floyd County Basketball programs all went undefeated in the first complete week of January. The Lady Horns started things off, defeating the Panhandle Christian Home Education Association (PCHEA) Lady Warriors 83-9.
