HONOR BAND 100% Congratulations go to the following Lockney High School Band students who made Region Honor Band (1A-4A) this month. The Honor Band audition uses college-level music, and all five of the students who competed for Lockney were selected. Band members were Aryssa Garcia, flute; Johnny Rodriguez, French horn; Daniel Alvarado, trumpet; Noah Gonzales, tuba; and Bryson Klein, percussion. BRINGS HOME TROPHY The Floydada Collegiate High School Ag Welding Team traveled to Springtown, Texas, last week to compete in the Springtown Build-Off. They secured fourth place out of fifteen teams, bringing home another trophy to add to the school’s collection.
