Body It’s no coincidence that the terms nemesis and New Home start with the same letter. For Floydada sports in recent years, opposing the burgeoning bedroom community just south of Lubbock has tripped up the Whirlwinds derailing titles and post-season runs.

Body Floydada basketball teams travelled to Tahoka last Friday, Dec 20 to kick off the holiday break.The Lady Winds took their first loss in district play, losing 48-56, making their overall district record 2-1.
