Body The Floydada Whirlwinds are undefeated in district. They toppled Tahoka 39-6 Friday night at Bulldog Stadium in a game where, according to coach J.R. Compton, the defense created opportunities and the offense capitalized on them. “The defense played real well,” he said.

Body Ethan Longoria, a senior at Floydada Collegiate High School, is the son of Maria Jimenez. He has been a part of the Whirlwind bands for five years. “What I like, or should say love, about the FCHS band is just the amount of work that all of us put in,” Longoria said.
