FLOYDADA— David Mendoza, of Floydada, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. Moses Blanco officiated. Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2023 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Patricio and Maria Mendoza; a nephew, Michael Gonzales; a brother, Patricio Mendoza, Jr.; a grandson, Roman Zarate; and a niece, Cookie Moreno.
Those left to cherish David’s memory are his wife, Linda Duncan Mendoza of Floydada; three daughters, Christina Mendoza of Andrews, Texas, Maricella Mendoza of Andrews, Texas, and Veronica and husband, Phil Gooding, of Andrews, Texas; three sons,Todd Beaty and wife, Charlena, David Beaty, and Dale Beaty and wife, Tonya, of Spur, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Juan Mendoza and wife Manuela of Floydada, Gabriel Mendoza of Plainview, Linda and Robert Gonzales of Slaton, Texas, Robert Mendoza of Utah, Teresa and Pete Landeros of Plainview, Beatriz and Antonio De La Fuente, of Floydada, Luis and Gloria Mendoza of Lubbock, Manuel and Lupe Mendoza of Floydada, Rudolfo Mendoza of Houston, Dora and Frank Luna of Floydada, and Esperanza Luna of Plainview.
