Rickie Cloyd Meyers, of Floydada, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas.
Rick was born on October 23, 1956, in Crosbyton, Texas, to Cloyd and Mozell Meyers.
He graduated from Floydada High School and was a gin manager and skilled contractor for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and driving a tractor and will be remembered for not only his sense of humor but also for being the best husband, father and Papa to those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cloyd Meyers. Rick is survived by his wife, Christina; his children, Stacy Landers (Lathan), Crystal Villarreal (Billy), Nikki Coronado (Brady), Cody Muse (Tina), and Kristyn Mitchell (Rick). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his mother, Mozell Meyers, and his brothers, Kenneth and Dennis.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the West Side Church of Christ in Floydada under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
