Body The Lockney Longhorns track team is set to have a competitor in the 2A State track meet on Friday, May 15.Daniel Alvarado, the lone representative of the Lockney Longhorns track team, is scheduled to compete in the 400m dash at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.

Body The #4 Floydada Lady Winds softball team traveled to Frenship High School May 7 for their 2A Division 1 regional semifinal matchup against the Colorado City Lady Wolves.Floydada and Colorado City were meeting in the regional semifinals for the third consecutive season.
