Body LOCKNEY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER held their Silent Auction and Dessert Fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 18. The auction featured hundreds of dollars’ worth of gift certificates, gift baskets, passes to Lockney games, Lockney-themed items plus many other items.

Body Churches from the Lockney community came together on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 21 to celebrate Thanksgiving and to count their blessings. The community service was held at the Lockney First United Methodist Church.

Body South Plains College hosted a special ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 30. in the Welding Department to mark the decommissioning of a World War II 75mm Pack Howitzer cannon. The canon is exhibited at the Silent Wings Museum, 6202 N. I-27 in Lubbock.
