Body LUBBOCK—Visitors will celebrate a frontier Christmas Dec. 10 and 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. when the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) celebrates its 43rd Annual Candlelight at the Ranch.

$5,000 on the line in NexGen Spark Business Contest

Body Wayland Baptist University and the Plainview/Hale County Economic Development Commission are seeking applicants for the NexGen Spark Business competition coming up in the Spring of 2022. The grand prize is $5,000 that can be used to bring the business idea to reality.

1956 Study Club holds annual Scholarship Auction at Nov. 9 meeting

Body This time of year, many women love to go shopping for special and unique gifts and the 1956 Study Club had just the option for its members, their Annual Scholarship Auction. The club started giving scholarships to senior girls graduating from Floydada High School in 2005.
