Body The Floydada Lady Winds traveled to Tahoka on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The Lady Winds entered the game in third place in the District 4-2A standings. They had an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot with a victory over the Lady Bulldogs.

Body The Lockney Longhorns and Lady Horns powerlifting teams traveled to Plains on Thursday, Jan. 29, to compete in the Plains Invitational. Lockney competed against Plains, Slaton, Denver City, Muleshoe, Seminole, Olton, and Tahoka.

BANQUET RESCHEDULED The Lockney Chamber of Commerce has moved its annual Chamber Banquet to Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Lockney Elementary School Cafeteria from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $20 at the door.
