Body THE FLOYD COUNTY 4-H CLUB showed their appreciation to the Floyd County commissioners court for their support of the 4-H Program. The club gave each member of the commissioners court a package of homemade cookies and a restaurant gift card.

South Plains College offers License to Carry class in November

Body LEVELLAND – South Plains College will offer the Texas License to Carry a Handgun class on Nov. 4 (Saturday) in Room 109C of the Law Enforcement Technology building on the Levelland campus. The class begins at 8 a.m. with a one-hour lunch break. The cost of the course is $75.

McCoy Gin gins first bale in Floyd County and Floydada

Body McCoy Gin of Floydada ginned the first bale of cotton in Floyd County and Floydada on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2022 at 10:36 a.m. The irrigated cotton was grown by producers Matthew and Kember Rainwater, dba Hillbilly Acres, and produced on the Campbell Farm.
