McCoy Gin gins first bale in Floyd County and Floydada

McCoy Gin of Floydada ginned the first bale of cotton in Floyd County and Floydada on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2022 at 10:36 a.m.
The irrigated cotton was grown by producers Matthew and Kember Rainwater, dba Hillbilly Acres, and produced on the Campbell Farm. The landlord is Carlos Rainwater.
The first bale weighed 540 pounds, and this farm produced 51 bales.
