Floyd county pools to open this week

Body Municipal swimming pools in Floydada and Lockney are set to open this week for the 2024 summer season.The Floydada Swimming Pool (at Massie Park) will open for the summer on Friday, May 26 at noon and will be open 12 noon until 5 p.m.

Precinct 3 early voting wraps up Friday for May 28 run-off

Body Early voting began Monday for the May 28 run-off for primary elections. In Floyd County there is a run-off in the precinct 3 commissioner’s race.In the March 5 primary Tanner Johnson received 44 votes, and Tanner Young received 40 votes. Talon Cruse received 34 votes.
