    The Comanchero Canyons Museum will host its tenth Rendezvous of friends, donors and guests on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Quitaque.

    Rendezvous is a French furtraders’ term for gathering or meeting place, but it came to denote a trading destination for New Mexican comancheros and free-ranging Comanches, where whiskey and guns were traded for stolen cattle and horses. Drawing from five counties along …
