Body The Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade & Milk Fest, along with various other activities, will be held on Thursday, July 4th on the Courthouse lawn in downtown Plainview.Activities will begin with the Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade at 10 a.m.

MATADOR REMEMBERS As the first anniversary of the devastating tornado that hit Matador on June 21, 2023 approaches, the Matador community has planned an event to allow residents to gather in friendship and fellowship. There will be a free barbeque dinner provided by Next Era, music by the West Texas Collective, and the opportunity to spend time together as a community. Santos signs letter of intent to Howard Payne University

Body Floydada High School graduate Zay Santos signed a letter of intent last week to play basketball at Howard Payne University, in Brownwood.Santos’ stats during her senior year at FCHS were 18.8 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, 7.5 assists per game and 2.7 steals per game.
