LOCKNEY BAND HONORS The Lockney Longhorn Band brought home two more awards this season. 1st Place in 2A, and Outstanding Small School Brass (1A-3A) from the historic Tumbleweed Marching Band Festival in Denver City. The Longhorn Band scored higher than all 1A, 2A, 3A, and a couple of 4A schools and ended up in the top exhibition slot that evening -- which ended up being a much stronger performance. Next is the Lubbock Westerner Festival on October 11, 2025. | COURTESY PHOTOS
