Juanita Moncibais, age 80, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023 at San Jose Catholic Church in Lockney.
Interment followed at the Lockney Cemetery. Visitation was held from 12 noon to 5 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 and all day Friday, September 8, 2023 in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Juanita was born February 11, 1943 in Kingsville, Texas, to Juan and Francisca (Guerra) Gonzales.
She worked for many years as a service representative for Verizon. Juanita also helped the Salvation Army. She enjoyed many hobbies like sewing and crocheting, painting and decorating, and even outdoor activities. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish Juanita’s memory are her children, Maximo Rocha, Madelena Rocha, Willie and Diana Rocha, Ana and John Carter, and Ricardo Moncibais; her grandchildren, Margarita and Tomas Padilla, Max and Leann Rocha, Michael and Colene Rocha, Brandi Whaley, Damien and Ashley Rocha, Daniel and Amber Rocha, Klayton Kline, Cody Landwehr Rocha, Marcus Rocha, Dylan Carter, Christopher Stevenson, and Isiah Moncibais; her siblings, Armando and Lupe Gonzales, Placido and Yolanda Gonzales, Fabian Gonzales, Julie Garcia, and Ralph and Susan Gonzales; and her 14 great-grandchildren.
