BURN BAN FOR FLOYD COUNTY became effective Monday, Feb. 14. The 90-day burn ban is in effect through May 15 at 11:59 a.m. for the unincorporated areas of Floyd County. If conditions improve, the ban can be rescinded. See burn ban article on front page for more info.
