Body The Floydada Lady Winds are 2-0 to begin district play this week. The Lady Winds began the district portion of their schedule against the Ralls Lady Rabbits on Dec. 16. The Lady Winds controlled much of the game and cruised to a 43-21 victory and earned their first district win.

Body RUSS MORRIS | HESPERIAN-BEACON The Lockney Longhorns traveled to Denver City on Dec. 16 to take on the Mustangs. The Longhorns entered the game hoping to build momentum toward the Christmas break. The two teams traded leads throughout different points in the game.

LONGHORNS PITCHER PUTSTHE‘K’IN KANSAS Dyllan Thiebaud, a senior from Lockney High School, signed his letter of intent April 17, 2025, to play baseball at Kansas Wesleyan University.
