Body Success begins in the off-season for all sports, and that includes softball. Lady Winds Softball Camp was held June 10-12 at the Lady Winds Field. The camp was open to incoming first through ninth graders.

Floydada grad Hughes to continue baseball career at Wayland

Body Floydada High School graduate Brody Hughes announced this week that he will take the next step in his student-athletic career as he intends to sign with the Wayland Baptist University baseball program.

Body The Floydada Country Club has multiple golf and swimming events available this summer.Weekly golf events include $25 Tuesdays for 18 holes and Thursday night scrambles with a tee time of 6 p.m. and $10 entry fee plus green/cart fee.

Producers Coop elevator receives first load of 2026 wheat

Body Producers Cooperative Elevator in Floydada received the first load of wheat for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 16, brought in by Ian McIntosh of Floydada.The wheat was cut on the McIntosh Farms. The test weight was 58.80; the load’s moisture was 12.
