Body The Floydada Whirlwinds traveled to Clarendon on March 31 for their third district game of the season. The Whirlwinds entered the game sitting tied for first place in the district standings after defeating Wellington and Memphis last week.Floydada led 2-0 after the first inning.

Body The #10 Floydada Lady Winds traveled to Quanah on March 31 for their third district game of the season. The Lady Winds have runruled every district game this season and sought to continue that trend.
Congratulations go to the FCISD KidWind teams that competed at Texas Tech recently. The Texas Turbines, Junior High competed with High School to take 2nd place in Circuitry and 2nd in Building Instant Challenge. The Whirlwind Warriors Junior High team took 1st place in Circuitry and 1st place in BTAC Challenge. The Whirlwind Wizards Junior High team took 1st place in Circuitry and 3rd Overall.
