A Floydada home in the 300 block of W. Kentucky was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon.
According to Floydada Fire Chief Chad Guthrie the Floydada fire department was dispatched to the scene Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. and about a dozen firefighters, including units from Matador and Roaring Springs assisted in battling the blaze.
