Body Downtown festivities began at Lockney’s annual Old-Fashioned Day at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with a book sale and craft vendors. The Runyan Ranch Mobile Zoo and the Cowboy Train Ride were popular family attractions.

Body 1950 SOCK HOP PARTY was held on Friday, Aug. 26 for the residents at the BeeHive at Shepherd’s Meadow Assisted Living Center as they went back in time reminiscing back to the 50’s. The staff worked all week preparing for the 1950’s party. Each resident was sent an invitation.

Body PLAINVIEW—A tribute ceremony commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks will be held on Saturday, Sept.11 at 8:45 a.m. at the flagpole at Kidsville Park (3400 4th Street, Plainview). The public is encouraged to attend.
