Body The Longhorns traveled to Hale Center on Thursday, Aug. 19 to scrimmage the Owls. Both sides of the field saw quite the number of spectators as both teams endured the temperatures in what would be their last scrimmages before non-district play starts.

Body THE FLOYDADA WHIRLWINDS played in a triangular scrimmage last Thursday evening, Aug. 19, at the Archie Warwick Memorial Stadium in Lubbock. Floydada was edged by the Trinity Christian Lions, 1-0 and then the ‘Winds won over the Bovina Mustangs, 1-0.
