South Plains College Class of 2023 graduates

Body South Plains College recently extended its congratulations to the more than 1,800 students who received their academic degrees or certificates on Friday, May 12, 2023, including 10 from Floyd County: • Pablo Mendoza of Floydada graduated with an A.A. in Criminal Justice.

FLOYDADA ISD SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM

Floyd County Special Olympians participate in San Antonio, bring home the gold

Body The Plainview Stars were well represented at the Special Olympics competition held in San Antonio recently. Participants Paul Lopez of Lockney, Kami Holbert of Floydada, and Alessandra Banda, whose father, Jose Banda, is from Lockney, competed in the May 18-21, 2023 event.
