Whirlwinds once again show resiliency in emotion-filled week

Body Last week was the emotional roller-coaster Floydada boys basketball head coach Karson Hembree expected, although the outcomes of the Whirlwinds’ final two regularseason road games didn’t turn out quite as he hoped.

Body On Jan. 31 the Lockney boys powerlifters took first place at the Floyd County Powerlifting Meet held at the Floyd County Unity Center in Muncy. The Lockney girls powerlifters took second place.
