A decisive two-game series against cross-county rival Lockney may not have gone its way, but the Floydada baseball team is planning to finish the regular season on a strong note.
“I thought we played pretty well last Tuesday at their place,” head coach Danny Brittain said. “We struggled a little bit hitting the ball, but Kyler Gillespie pitched really well and kept it close.”
