A Friday afternoon prekickoff cold front dropped the temperatures in Lockney rapidly in minutes and brought forth a north gust I don’t think anyone in attendance was prepared for. The Longhorns, however, weathered the change and found the endzone seven times to win their district opener against the Crosbyton Chiefs.
