Whirlwinds capture 3rd straight District cross country championship

The Floydada Whirlwinds and Lady Winds cross country teams traveled to Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday, Oct. 12, for the District 4-2A cross country meet.

Floydada competed against runners from Post, New Home, New Deal and Tahoka for a chance at advancing to the UIL 2A Region 1 meet.
