KAY ELLINGTON | HESPERIAN-BEACON Election filings for candidates wishing to appear March 3, 2026 primary ballot are underway, and all Floyd County incumbents have filed for reelection. One incumbent, Floyd County Treasurer Lori Morales, has drawn a challenger, Erika Rangel. Also, 110th District Judge Judge William P. “Bill” Smith, who first took office in 2006, is not filing for reelection, according to elections administrator KeeLee Rawls.
