Lockney vet to participate in this week’s South Plains Honor Flight

    Among the military veterans from West Texas who will be heading to Washington, D.C., this Saturday is U.S. Army veteran Joe Castro from Lockney, according to members of his family.

    The Texas South Plains Honor Flight serves to provide veterans from the area with an all-expenses paid trip to the nation’s capital to see the memorials and monuments built in honor of their service to our great country.
