The Floydada Economic Development Corporation met last week, according to director Ryan Crowe, and approved a grant to Amado Morales’ pumpkin farm operation on East Kentucky Street.
“Morales is putting in roughly $300,000 worth of work to expand his production shed at that facility,” said Crowe, “and we gave him a grant to use toward steel and other materials.”
