of Floydada would like to announce the engagement of their son, Ethan Simmons Smith, to Kaitlin Nicole Nick, daughter of Mike and Kara Nick of Abernathy, Texas.
The couple met and started dating at the age of 16. Ethan will graduate from Texas Tech University in May of this year and pursue a career in ranching and horse training.
