Tara Hughes of Floydada was convicted last week in Floydada of intentionally or knowingly causing serious body harm to a child, a first-degree felony in the 2019 death of her daughter, 17-month-old Haizlee Rea Trevino.
The verdict was reached on Thursday, Aug. 4 in Judge William P. Smith’s 110th District court.
