Last week, Lockney Softball played in a multi-city tournament. Day 1, Feb. 13, found them in Roosevelt, versus Sudan and Roosevelt. Marmolejo was all smiles, with a dinger she sent out center field. On Day 2, Feb. 14, in Post, the squad took the field at 11:40 versus Ralls, and at 6:20 versus Tascosa. On Saturday the Lockney team played Denver City at 10 a.m. in Post. | CERVANTES PHOTOGRAPHY

Body ENCHILADA FUNDRAISER BeeHive Homes at Shepherd’s Meadow is having an enchilada fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 28. Enchiladas for a family of 4 for $50 includes 16 beef or cheese enchiladas, rice and refried beans. Pickup will be at the BeeHive Homes in Floydada from 4 to 6 p.m.
