Lake Mackenzie is located in Briscoe County, 12 miles northwest of Silverton and 27 miles east of Tulia. Operated by Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority, the lake was created to furnish water to member cities of Floydada, Lockney, Silverton and Tulia.
