Body The Floydada Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual recognition banquet Wednesday, Jan. 13, to celebrate members of the community who have contributed individually or as a business.Floydada City Manager Darrell Gooch was honored as citizen of the year for 2025.
$15K TO EACH FIRE DEPT. The Floyd County Volunteer Fire Departments received a record $30,000 from the Country Christmas Ball held in December. Dustee Sollis and Wendell Sollis made the presentation to Floydada Fire Chief Chad Guthrie and Lockney Fire Chief Donnie McLaughlin.
