Body THE ANNUAL FLOYD COUNTY ROPING was held Saturday, Oct. 16 at Aric Hendricks’ arena west of town. There were 60 teams entered in the roping. First place winners were Clinton Ware and Ricky Hrbacek and second place winners were Arnoldo Gonzalez and Cody Ware.

Morales earns Herald’s Stat Line of the Week

Body Senior Pablo Morales, Lockney’s quarterback, was named the Plainview Herald’s “Stat Line Player of the Week.” The Longhorns picked up their seventh win last Friday, Oct. 22 beating the Hamlin Pied Pipers, 40–15 to move to 7-1 on the season and 2–0 in District 5-2A play.
