Cream cheese biscuits the perfect bite with butter and/or jam

Body If you follow this column, you know I am fascinated with biscuit making. It’s really satisfying—although I have recently been cautious about white flour. That being said, when I do cook biscuits the way they are made in this recipe, it makes me only appreciate them more.

Floydada Senior Citizens News

Body The Center is now open three days a week. We are serving lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We offer dine-in, carry-out or delivery. On Wednesdays we will be selling meals to go for $5. Meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays are $7.

Lockney Senior Center News

Body The Center will be closed on Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day. The Center’s annual membership fee remains the same at $30.00 per year per person. Membership fees go directly into our building and maintenance fund and are essential for continuing operations.

Humanity at the laundromat

Body If you own a washer and dryer, you miss a lot. You should go to a laundromat at least every five years just to stay in touch with humanity. Humanity changes. You gotta keep up. I’m now caught up till 2027. It was almost worth the money.

Body THE FLOYD COUNTY PIONEER ASSOCIATION will have an Old Settlers meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 24 at the First National Bank of Floydada Community Room. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
