Online Drought Management and Economics Series set for June, July

Body Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service specialists and agents in the Panhandle and South Plains will be conducting an online economics series related to drought management in beef operations. The dates are June 15, July 6 and July 27.

Panhandle Parade of Breeds junior livestock show to be held

Body The 40th Panhandle Parade of Breeds junior heifer and steer show will be held June 16, 17 and 18 at the Ollie Liner Center, Plainview, Texas. The barn opens at 12 noon Thursday for arrival of heifers and steers. All Mini breeds must be checked in on Thursday.

Body On Friday, July 8, 2022, Wendell Sollis and the Sidekicks All-Star Band will liven up the Floyd County Friends’ Unity Center, on U.S. Hwy. 70, halfway between Lockney and Floydada, Texas.

Body The Floydada FFA End of Year Awards Banquet was held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 16 in the Floydada Collegiate High School Cafete-ria. A barbecue meal was served along with a sundae bar. Awards, scholarships and recognition was given to all the Floydada FFA students.
