Body The swimming pool at the Floydada County Club, located in scenic Blanco County, has been closed for several years—but thanks to efforts by the club’s governing board is back in service.

Body Floydada residents are in for a thrilling 4th of July celebration with festivities lined up to enjoy. Residents can kickstart the fun by stopping by The Serrato Sisters venue at 214 South Main Street for a free hot breakfast.

Alum Jones named Lockney Junior High principal

Body Lockney ISD has hired Dewayne Jones, graduate of the Lockney class of 1997, as the new junior high principal following the announcement of Principal Setliff’s leaving earlier this month.
